These bowls are intentionally designed to have a distinctive, natural, organic, rugged, masculine, rustic, old-world curiosity to them. Each cigar bowl starts with a precise identification process. I look for opportunities to allow a significant amount of the raw and often ugly parts of the wood to be on display. This includes decay, wormholes, kerf marks, knots, bark, burn marks inclusions, and anything else that is a part of the wood when selected. Your ashes deserve a better place to rest.
